The icon that represents the JCC seasonal theme of “Reset” takes on a new dimension in an outdoor circular sculpture woven out of vines with a reflective reset button symbol in its center. The use of natural and human-made materials to create this symbol invites questions about technology vs. nature, and our relationship to technology and to the Earth. The reflective symbol allows people to see themselves in this sculpture, encouraging further self-reflection. A sculptural weaving activity offered members of the community the chance to use vines and other materials to create contributions to weave into the sides of sculpture.
